This trip was undertaken using Delta Tours in Egypt and was arranged over the internet. Their web site is www.deltatoursegypt.com. Mr Hamed El Gabry arranged everything exactly as had been agreed to in advance by e-mail.

Egypt has a lot to offer but care must be taken. Delta Tours looked after us wonderfully and if you follow their suggestions, your experience should be most positive. Our Tour Guide was SHIMAA (see the photos). She really looked after us. As it happens we were there in low season, hence she was all ours and vice versa.

At all times we travelled together in air conditioned cars or vans.

Diane and Tom ventured into Cairo alone a couple of times, but ensure that you know the correct cab fares and/or where/when your shuttle bus will pick you up.
